BIOS //

Jo Perry – Inspired by her grandfather, Jo’s first vintage was at the ripe old age of 14 at Cape Mentelle, serving as the catalyst to a life dedicated to the art of wine making. She pursued her passion further by studying at James Sturt University. This immersion in study and the eastern state vineyards allowed her to travel and step aboard the rapid learning curve. Her studies saw her travel to France, San Francisco, Palermo, London, Auckland, California, Germany and all around Australia, before leading her to Spain where she spent many years overseeing two wineries. The call of home was too great and Jo relocated to Margaret River to create her own brand. All of her experience lead Jo to developing the unique and innovative Dormilona Wines. Dormilona Wines birthed a new world of wine making, pushing boundaries and delivering an incredible product in their amazing wines, all the while building national and international following. Hers is a career built from passion, dedication and a yearning for the good life.

Carrie Davis – A born and bred local, calling Dunsborough her home as a child and now choosing to raise her own two children here, Carrie is a proud South Western women in business. She began her own bookkeeping business in 2007, building her clientele slowly and steadily, including 4 Pines Brewing Company. Fast forward to today where her involvement in 4 Pines, one of the largest craft beer brands in Australia, is at the forefront of its success. The building success and potential of this incredible venture was recognised by AB inBev, an international brewery, who purchased 4 Pines and which Carrie played an invaluable role in. She also celebrates collaboration and strives to give back to the community that has given so much to her, currently on the board of Smiths Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Carrie, a passionate advocate for women in business, empowers women in the industry to thrive and embodies a feminine style of leadership that is credit to her success.

Claire Spalding – Claire has had an incredible career as a brand strategist and marketing guru, spanning almost 20 years and supporting domestic and international businesses alike. She initially studied a double degree in Marketing and Public Relations, which empowered her to navigate various industries with confidence and a unique eye for design that separates her from others in her field. She currently serves an integral role at NOROCK, a patented self-stabilising table base, manufactured overseas and distributed throughout Europe, UK, USA and Australia. Fitted out in global chains around the world such as Nando’s and Wagamama, you will also find them locally in Yarri, Merchant & Maker plus many more. Claire’s role has evolved and grown with the incredible success and recognition of the company, and her job sees her responsible for brand strategy and marketing of this unique business. When her

NOROCK hat isn’t on, she sits on several boards and is mama to two little ones. She loves working and living in Australia’s beautiful South West, and is passionate about equipping women in business to find their voice (and brand!) and work boldly.
