Introducing Heidi Mippy to the RRR Network Board. She is a Noongar & Thiin- Mah-Warriyangka woman. Heidi was born in Carnarvon and has lived and worked in many parts of this great state, including in the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and the South-West.
Heidi is a mother of three girls and is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to find their space and shine. She is grounded in her culture and find strength, balance and guidance in my connection to boodjar (country).
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education & Community Management from the University of Technology Sydney and later went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Leadership, Strategy and Innovation) and an Executive Masters in Leadership, Strategy and Innovation from Murdoch University.
Currently, she works with Noongar Land Enterprise group – a grower group of Noongar land owners and is a support member to develop economic opportunities through their properties. She is also working with the ARC Training Centre for Healing Country as a co-lead on the socio- economics theme. As well as a director of Blue Beanie Projects and Treasurer of Djidi-Djidi Aboriginal Women’s Corporation – which exist to provide services to improve the lives of women, children and families in the Melville, Fremantle, Cockburn and Kwinana areas.
