Sian Pladdy

Membership and Engagement Officer

Sian grew up on a family farm in Wyalkatchem, which is where her love of the wheatbelt and agriculture began.
After graduating high school and enjoying a few years in Perth, Sian returned to the wheatbelt to work and study. While working for CBH and then Elders, Sian completed her Bachelor of Agricultural Science remotely through Charles Sturt University.
Sian then enjoyed a number of years with Ravensdown fertiliser looking after the wheatbelt, and more recently, spent several years working for Gallagher Australian looking after the North of WA.

Sian now runs a 5000 acre property with her husband Steve and new baby Zara, in the scenic town of Bencubbin. They run both cropping and livestock enterprises and are always looking at new industries and innovations to help grow their business and community.
